The DVLP team would like to give a huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped at the Barnsley Main work day.

The focus for the day was clearing the old Barnsley Main car park, greatly improving the first impression for visitors entering the site. The day was part of wider plans to make the site more accessible and celebrate this wonderful piece of Barnsley’s history.

The day brought together a diverse range of partners, Barnsley Central Area Team, Twiggs, Barnsley Parks Services, Barnsley Tesco Extra and the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
