Worsbrough Footpath Works Underway

Footpath improvements will allow better access for visitors at Worsbrough Mill and Country Park.

A new boardwalk is being built around wet woodland at Worsbrough mill and Country Park, in order to allow better access for those visiting.

The access road, near stone bridge, will be closed from Monday 30 November with work expected to last for approximately three weeks (weather dependant).

Work to the path will include construction of a new raised boardwalk and building a new handrail to improve one of the most eroded sections of the public footpath.  These improvements will allow better accessibility for wheelchair users and those with prams.
