“We all love pottery, clay is in our blood round here.”
Working with communities in the locations that the potteries once existed was a key part of Adele Howitt’s process of creating a final piece for her exhibition at the Cooper Gallery next year.
Her work will not only reflect the history of places such as Mexborough, Swinton and Hoyland but also integrate the skills of their communities today.
