We were delighted to fund ten sessions, from September 2015, of the Write On Mexborough! group. The sessions are delivered by Steve Ely, a novelist and award winning poet. He teaches creative writing at the University of Huddersfield and also published a biographical work about Ted Hughes’s time in Mexborough.
We will be working with the group again to publish a pamphlet with material produced at the sessions. This will be officially launched at the Ted Hughes Poetry Festival, Mexborough, in June 2016.
