John Hellewell’s two brothers, Samuel and Thomas, were also killed in the disaster. John married Aminda Hinchliffe at St John the Baptist, Royston, on 9 November 1863, they had one son, John William Hellewell. After John’s death Aminda remarried and migrated to America where descendants still live today. |
