Event Info

We are working with the Barnsley Central Area Team to establish a ‘Friends of Barnsley Main’ group to help protect, improve and celebrate this Grade II Listed building and wider site. This first meeting is your chance to get involved and learn more about the plans for the site.

Whatever your skills and experience we need your help. There are lots of ways you can get involved and make a difference, such as:

• Forming part of the Friends of Barnsley Main committee
• Organising and running events
• Litter picking
• Raising local awareness of the site through social media
• Regular use of the site for walks with family and friends
