As part of our Art of the Dearne project, artist Patrick Murphy will be creating an artwork that is based on the course of the River Dearne as it flows through the Dearne Valley.

                

Join Patrick at this painting and drawing workshop where you will have the opportunity to work on your own individual 60cm x 60cm element of the overall composition, artistically exploring and mapping the River Dearne.

The finished artwork will be included in the Neon Rover Project publication and made available for exhibition.

All materials will be provided. Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.

Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note that lunch is not provided at this event – please bring a packed lunch with you or alternatively, there are food outlets nearby the studio.

The workshop will take place at Patrick’s Studio at Joseph Locke House (near Morrisons). There is car parking nearby at Morrisons Supermarket.
