End Date: 27th April 2018, 16:30

Event Info

These are three very attractive and popular groups of Diptera with many “easy hits” and some difficult ones. These are all useful for assessment of wetlands but are also interesting in their own right. So, whatever your level of expertise Derek will guide you through the identification process. As usual we will be using keys, stereomicroscopes and identification guides. There will be plenty of reference specimens. Please bring along any specimens you may have. Beginners and improvers all welcome.  Most of the day is hands-on and you work at your own pace.

Tea and coffee and biscuits will be freely available but bring along a packed lunch or eat at the local café or pub. This workshop is another Sorby Invertebrate Group (SIG)  joint event with the Dearne Valley Landscape Partnership (DVLP).

Booking is essential, please use the details below to secure your FREE place.
