Join us and our woodland consultants Haycock & Jay Associates Ltd and discover the wonders of woodland ground flora. We will be identifying plants and understanding a variety of wildflower species.
The afternoon will be spent in Wath Wood and Boyd Royd Wood identifying plants and understanding the ecology and uses of ground flora species within woodlands.
There will also be an opportunity to discuss and explore how to enhance woodlands for birds and other wildlife by managing ground flora and trees.
This course is FREE and suitable for all. If you are a beginner or intermediate botanist or just have an interest in nature and conservation then this is an ideal opportunity to learn more about our local woodlands. Contact the DVLP to book you place.
