After an intensive development period involving a range of individuals and organisations the Stage 2 application and detailed 5 year action plan was submitted in January 2014. There then followed a detailed assessment period before the announcement of the success. Full details can be found here:

The DVLP will run for 5 years from June 2014 and the immediate priority is the recruitment of the rest of the team to deliver the scheme and to establish an office base within the Dearne Valley.
