Event Info

Following part of the ‘Heron Way’ we take the Trans Pennine Trail and public footpaths from Conisbrough station via Denaby Ings, High Melton, Barnburgh Cliff for fine views across the Dearne Valley before dropping down to the station at Bolton-upon-Dearne for hourly trains back to Swinton, Meadowhall, Sheffield or to Wakefield Westgate and Leeds.
(Frequent return buses Nos.218/218a/226 depart Bolton to Barnsley, Wombwell, Swinton and Rotherham)

All welcome, walk is free but train fares apply.

Start: 10am at CONISBROUGH station.
Finish: BOLTON-UPON-DEARNE.
Distance: approx. 8½ miles
