Hoyland was once home to the Milton Pottery in Skiers Spring Wood and this hands-on workshop will introduce you to the historical techniques used in decorating ceramics.

This workshop is part of our project looking at the forgotten potteries of the Dearne Valley. Adele Howitt will be producing a collaborative artwork that will form a major part of the ‘Forgotten Potteries of the Dearne Valley’ exhibition at the Cooper Gallery, Barnsley, next year.
