We are working with the Barnsley Central Area Team to establish a ‘Friends of Barnsley Main’ group to help protect, improve and celebrate this Grade II Listed building and wider site. Following a very positive first meeting last month we’re now building momentum around the site.
Last year we commissioned the architects Purcell to produce a Conservation Management Plan for Barnsley Main. At this meeting our community officer, Stephen, will be presenting the findings of the report as a starting point for further discussions.
