Event Info
The day will begin with an indoor session on public speaking skills followed by an outdoor practice session. Whilst the main body of the training concentrates on leading walks of any kind, it will also include some basic wildlife identification skills which will enhance any walk.
Who should attend?
- Anyone who wants to gain more confidence to lead walks – especially outdoor ones – for the public and need to know more about how to handle groups in a walk setting.
- Anyone who wants to gain more confidence to give public talks
- Volunteer groups who want to organise and produce effective and engaging events.
