Have you ever wanted to know the history of your house, a local industry, a forgotten hero or infamous local story?

 

Join local historian Stephen Miller for this free introductory workshop on how to start researching local history. Stephen will go through the range of sources available online and at your local library and archive.

There will be plenty of practical guidance and advice to take away and opportunities to get involved.

The workshop is FREE but spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.  Please contact the DVLP (details below) to reserve your place.

The workshop will be held in the Learning Space which is above the Visitor Centre at Elsecar Heritage Centre.  Refreshments will be provided on arrival
