Event Info
Coal mining is a reoccurring motif in the writing of Barry Hines. Over five weeks at Hoyland Library we will be exploring some of his lesser known works on the theme.
In this forth session we will be reading and discussing the second part of The Price of Coal, a TV drama written by Hines and directed by Ken Loach.
The five sessions will be led by Rachel Hughes, a post graduate researcher at the Barry Hines Archive held at the University of Sheffield.
Refreshments kindly provided by Tesco Hoyland.
Places are free but must be booked. Please contact us on 01226 772414 or [email protected]
