To mark the 150th anniversary of the Oaks Colliery Disaster we are delivering a series of three guided walks telling the story of the disaster.

Event Info

A two mile walk from the Oaks Memorial at Christ Church, Ardsley, to the Oaks Disaster Rescuers Memorial, Kendray. This walk will follow the Trans Pennine Trail past the site of the Oaks Colliery.

Meet at Christ Church, Ardsley. (Please note this guided walk is not circular and will finish at the site of Kendray Memorial).
