Event Info
Charles Dickens, William Blake and more recently Will Self are notorious for their night-time wandering. A habit used by so many writers to awaken inspiration, observe the unusual characters that inhabit the streets and wrestle with poetic endings. Sheffield poet Suzannah Evans invites you to venture out on to the familiar cobbles to encounter the streets anew. Explore the town through the nocturnal lens before heading back to the Arcade Alehouse to get warm, slurp ale and write about all the things that night-time brings.
Tickets are free as these events are funded by the Dearne Valley Landscape Partnership.
Donations to Barnsley Museums and Heritage Trust (charity no. 1164496) are gratefully received.
