Winter Tree ID (repeat)

Due to demand woodland expert Steve & Robyn from Haycock and Jay Associates will be running a repeat of the popular winter tree ID workshop as part of the DVLP’s Woodland Engagement project this winter.

Event Info

This course will introduce you to the winter identification of the trees local to the Dearne Valley looking at buds, bark and other important features.

The course will start with looking at indoor specimens in the morning then after lunch we will go out and explore the local woods.

Bring along warm winter clothing, food and drink (although there is a café at the visitor centre) and a hand lens if you have one.
