Do you need to create a website for your group or project? If so then this one day workshop will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to build your own website using WordPress.

 

The session will include setting up a website, choosing a theme and customising it, as well as other topics such as how to write content for websites and how to find and optimise images for your website.

You’ll leave this workshop with everything you’ll need to make your own website and get started straight away.

This workshop is delivered by Craig Burgess, director at Genius Division, a design agency. Craig has been designing and developing WordPress websites for over 10 years. He also regularly teaches WordPress at the FdA in Web Design course at Wakefield College.

The workshop is free to attend and you do not need to have any previous experience of creating websites.
