We have 3 hectares to plant with 5000 trees! Therefore we need all the volunteers we can get – including local businesses, volunteers, school groups etc. Full support and guidance will be given throughout and no experience necessary just come along and get stuck in!

We are working in partnership with the Forestry Commission to engage and involve local communities in the on-going management of a number of former colliery sites, to try and enhance biodiversity, community usage and awareness and to increase volunteering opportunities.
