                                         Exhibitions
Applicant:                       Tim Binns c/o Wath Hall Ltd
Grant Awarded:             £2000
Project Summary:

It is essential that the community has an opportunity to input into the plans for the hall and begins to see the hall as a vibrant cultural hub. The project will involve all parts of the community through a series of open days and exhibitions showing the history of the hall, its place in the development of the community of Wath and engaging visitors in the discussions about the future uses and ambitions for the hall.

Specifically the project will fund 4 open days over the next 6 months. Each day will offer:

Guided tours of the Hall explaining historic and architectural details

Static displays which the public can peruse at their leisure featuring the role of Wath Hall in the development of Wath from agricultural village to industrial town

An opportunity to submit suggestions for future uses for the hall and an opportunity to discuss ideas with members of the management board

Invitations will be sent specifically to all local schools. The events will be marketed by social and conventional media channels.  Where possible we will link to other non-competing cultural events.
