The site is located in the Thurnscoe area of South Yorkshire. The site was once a slagheap which was used by the Hickleton Main Colliery and is now home to diverse wildlife.
There is a climbing wall, carved farmyard animals, a maze, and an art gallery designed by a local youth group.
It is also popular with walkers, cyclists and horse-riders.
Phoenix Park is owned by The Land Trust and managed by the Forestry Commission.
